It is a technique where the heat is provided in a very localized way, minimizing the heat affected area and part distortion.

Laser welding allows welding with high processing speed, being a technique widely used for metal sheet welding of different thicknesses.

PLASTIC WELDING


TRANSMISSION WELDING

The laser is used to weld a transparent to opaque plastic (to laser radiation wavelength).


CONTOUR WELDING

One-step welding. Welding adaptability to different 3D contours, using a robot system.


FIBER-REINFORCED POLYMER WELDING

Laser welding can also be applied to the bonding of glass or carbon fiber-reinforced polymers (GFRP or CFRP) with thermoplastic polymers.


HYBRID METAL-POLYMER JOINING
